Subject: WordPress for Absolute Beginners 3rd February / WordPress for Beginners 17th February – Newton Rigg Conference Centre – Cumbria Chamber of Commerce

Good day

If you are wanting to create a website or blog for free, WordPress is the ideal solution. Over 75 million websites around the world now use WordPress, with 6 new posts being published every second. But if you haven’t got any experience with web design and CMS this can be a bit daunting, so where and how do you start? And if you already have a WordPress website are you managing it effectively?

Over these two days David Kinsella of Incorporate Digital will help you to learn how to install a WordPress site, how to add new content and how to begin to interact with the people who view your site or blog.  You will also pick up new skills in customising how your site looks and making your WordPress site work the way you want it to.

A blank WordPress site will be provided for attendees to be able to use on the day and for 1 month after the course completes so that they can experiment with their new skills without making changes to their existing website.
