Marketing, Social Media and Fundraising Training

Marketing, Public Relations, Social Media & Fundraising training is being organised for volunteers and Councillors in Silloth over the next few months. All the course components are important to events organisation and they will all be free to attend (paid for out of Heritage Lottery Funds). The courses will be held over weekends and perhaps one evening. Social media is tied up with place/event marketing and promotion so will help put Silloth on the map (also great for work skills and personal development). The aim is to get the training sorted prior to the end May (start of main season) so everyone can get best out of it for promoting this year’s events. David Kinsella will be delivering the training. Added 18th March: Here below is a note of the dates the providers, David Kinsella and Paul Teague can run the training. If any event organiser/volunteer or Councillor (who hasn’t already contacted me or Wendy) is interested in doing this training, could you let me know along with the dates you CAN’T do and I’ll work through everyone’s responses to see what will work best. Training might be run over a 2 day weekend followed by a 1 day session over a weekend plus an evening, or 3 single days over different weekends plus an evening in the week.
